Today was not bad.
Today I attended a Robotics Meeting. I'm not normally very transparent in this blog, but I feel that this is some important news to deliver. We have run out of funds! Fortunately, we have purchased everything we needed for the robot, but we don't have many funds for other things, like merchandise and food. Hopefully we can raise the funds to ease the ol' wallet!
Anyways, we got to getting the specific numbers and design for our gripper mechanism. We still need to figure out a few angles and lengths, but we should be good to go to begin building our gripper mechanism after tomorrow. The CAD team also got some help in designing the pully system. I'm confident that we will be able to finish constructing a functioning robot before the competition!
Today it was raining for most of the day. That’s great for the environment, but everyone’s shoes got wet. Anyways, the rain has stopped for now. It’s going to be rainy next week later, but it’s great to see the sun again.
