Today was good.
During lunch break, the Cross Country team got our team picture taken. We got onto the field to take the picture. We organized by height, then we took the group photo. They forced me to take off my signature hat, which made me a little upset, since I hadn't gotten a haircut in a long time since I've been so busy. There was also a bit of wind, so I'm not sure how bad my hair was. My friend joked that if they were going to touch up the photo, they would probably add back on my signature blue hat. After the group photo, was the individual photos. This time, they let me wear my blue hat, which was nice. I'm not sure how the photo turned out, but hopefully it turned out well!
Anyways, after school, the Robotics team held another recruitment event, this time we reviewed more of the logistics of the club, as well as the recruitment process. Only a handful of people showed up since not many people were available afterschool, but we still collected their emails. Anyways, after that, we reflected on our recruitment efforts, and decided that we might need to do some restructuring in our team. After that, the programming team did some more practice problems on conditionals, since they struggled with that.
It'll be a long time until our next Robotics meeting, but hopefully we'll be able to complete our robot before Mechanical M-Ayhem!
