Today was sort of nice.
In the morning, I was dropped of on UC Berkeley's campus to visit for Cal Day. I first went to the welcome speeches and saw some cool student performances. Afterwards, I went to an EECS student panel, which I found really informative, and it helped sway my decision. Then, I went to visit some of the Engineering clubs, where I passed by one of my former classmates, Joy. I also found my brother tabling for one of the clubs he's a part of, which was fun. I kept circling campus, finding opportunities to speak with current students about their experience at Berkeley.
Then, I went to Café 3 for lunch. It was a little disappointing, but acceptable, considering the large quantity of people they had to feed today. It was rice, beef sisig, carrots, and I also got some clam chowder. When I was done with my food, I went around to speak with more current students, mostly those who were tabling clubs afterwards. When I had grown tired and weary from walking around campus, I took the BART home.
When I got home, after watching 1323 Madtown robotics win the 2025 Robotics World Championships this year, I went to visit Matthew and Austin at Austin's house for us all to do the USC Speak Your Mind challenge, which is for raising awareness of openness of discussing mental health issues. My bike ride home (as well as Matthew's) was rather chilly.
