April 5th: East Bay Regional (Day 2)

Today was very busy but also a bit enjoyable.

In the morning, I sang the national anthem before the start of qualification matches. I was really nervous about it, and I felt my heart beat really, really fast while I was singing it! I did a slight fumble when I accidently moved too far away from the mic. I took off my hat and I think my hair wasn't the most prettiest. When I looked at my team they all had their phones out. The videos were sent to places.

Later, we competed in matches, where we experiences some drive train issues. Our propulsion wheels weren't functioning as well as we hoped either; they were loud and seemed to slow down when an algae went through them.

It was so busy today and we're all so tired. I slept on the couch again.
