Today was real cool.
I went to Pier 39 in San Francisco today with someone special to me.
After the BART ride over, and a long walk with a small detour, we made it to the Pier. It was packed, and it made me remember many memories. We started with some coffee; I enjoyed sipping on my iced latte.
Once we had finished walking around the shops, we found the sea lions! I was surprised by how many there were and how they were fighting each other so much.
Then, we went to the mirror maze. It was really trippy and cool to navigate. I remember when I was little I ran straight into one of the mirrors. This time, I was safer and we were able to navigate through the maze all fine. It was very fun and it was a cool sight!
Afterwards, we visited all of the shops on the pier. It was interesting seeing all of the stuff they offered, like shells, cute things, a spicy shop, a lot of different gift shops, and a hat shop.
After we had finished walking around so much, we had worked up a small appetite. We went to Boudin Bakery. I got a crab chowder sourdough bowl. It was interesting; I had only gotten clam chowder before. I think I should've gotten the clam chowder, but the crab chowder wasn't bad.
We walked around a bit more around the pier. Then, down into fisherman's wharf near the end. When we had grown tired and the daylight was waning, we went back home.
