August 19th: Move In!

Today was certainly special.

In the morning, I ate sushi with my family. Then, I went on a scramble to get some photos printed. First, I tried CVS, but I found the photos bleedy in color. Then, I tried Walgreens, which resulted in much better photos.

Afterwards, we loaded everything into my aunt's car and started our route to Berkeley. There was a bit of traffic, but it wasn't anything major. We arrived to Unit 1 on time, I checked in, and found my room. My roommate William was already there when I arrived, but Weikang wasn't; he would be moving in later in the day.

Set-up took a lot less time than I thought. Rather, we just unpacked everything in an unorganized way. There was an orientation with our RA happening later, so my family left and I got to organizing until it was the scheduled time for the orientation meeting.

After the meeting William and I went to Crossroads (Croads) to get food. The carbs weren't the best but the meat wasn't bad. Afterwards, when we returned, we found Weikang unpacking in our room. Later, we went to the Unit 1 party and talked to a lot of people, and it was nice getting to know so many different people. It was pretty populated. When we went back to our dorm, our floormates invited us to play some poker. Once it had ended, I took a shower and we went to sleep.
