Today was quite a day!
I woke up early enough to get actual breakfast from the dining hall. It was pretty standard American breakfast: chocolate pancakes, some bacon, and some eggs.
After breakfast, I went to study at Doe library. Being there helped me lock in a bit. Then, my only class today was to attend the CS61A lecture. DeNero is a bit of a funny character, but I absolutely respect him.
Once lecture had finished, I got a Katora Bowl from the Monsoon Kitchen in the MLK Student Union. It was pretty good. Then, after I finished wrapping up my loose ends from the day and packing my back pack. I went to visit someone special to me at their university. Unfortunately, I didn't get there in time, but I managed to get on the route she was on. We visited the Nintendo Store which was very cool and fabulous! The Switch 2 seems pretty cool, but I'm not sure if it's completely worth it.
Then, we went to IKEA, just to look around. It was cool, but we were just there for a little while since they were closing. We went back to BART, but for some reason the lines we wanted to take were taking a long time to come, so we just boarded the next train we could, which only brought us to Embarcadero.
When we got there, it was so packed! There were so many people! As it turns out, the transbay tube, which was were the rails that brought people to and from San Francisco and the East Bay, had some smoke as a result of a BART train braking. After thinking for a bit and changing our plans, we made it out of Embarcadero station and saw that there were some firefighters posted outside one of the entrances into Embarcadero station. We tried taking the F line to cross the bridge, but as it turned out, the line was really, really long.
We ended up splitting an uber with a couple other folks who were also trying to head to the Berkeley area. Then, we got some hot dogs from Top Dog, which has been selling hot dogs for a really long time. The flavor was really good and they had a good selection of toppings to choose from.
