August 3rd: Cookout Party

Today was fun.

First, I went to visit someone special to me.

Then, I picked up a bunch of Popeyes for a party I was going to! Surprisingly it didn't take them too long to prepare it, which I was happy about.

After hopping on the bus which conveniently was coming at the time, then biking for a bit, I made it to the party. People slowly trickled in.

For the first part, I helped my friend Anh fix his computer. He had punched his screen again. It didn't take too long to fix it since I had fixed it before.

When I was almost finished fixing the computer, the food off the grill began coming out. Chef Andy, Gabriel, and Angel began serving the food off the grill. There was a grand variety of food at the party: burgers, teriyaki chicken, chips, snacks, fruit, cake, hot dogs, and pie. It was potluck style.

Once we had all eaten a little, we began playing cards. It was really nice to get to see some people once again before we all leave for college. In the mean time, they began trying to cut the wood for the camp fire. It took a lot of effort, but in the end, we all managed to chop the stubborn pieces in halves for the camp fire. It was really beautiful and it was very warm.

Later into the night, they took out the bandset and began playing music. Specifically, Creep, by Radiohead. It was really beautiful to see everyone vibing with it.

Thank you to Andy for hosting an incredible party, those who helped set it up and clean, and everyone who brought food and came.
