Today was really nice.
I woke up early in the morning to prepare for the flight to Las Vegas. When we left the house, I had forgotten my smaller bag, but fortunately we were able to get it back. The check in line for TSA screening was quite long, but fortunately, after all of those set backs, our flight was delayed. Still, we made it to the terminal on time, so the delayed flight was still more of a nuisance than a fortune.
Once we got on the flight, I found the seats to be a bit cramped, which is usual to see. Fortunately, I wasn't too bored, and I found myself reorganizing my home screen and playing some offline games. When we were landing, I found some surprising turbulence that felt like I was on a rollercoaster.
When we had arrived to Vegas, I had instantly felt the dry heat. We got in an Uber to our hotel. Then, we ate at Din Tai Fung. The food was fantastic and extremely flavorful! I really, really liked the cucumber salad. There were clean but present flavors. The peanut noodles were good too, as well as the spare ribs.
After we went back to our hotel and rested for a bit, we went to the Shark Tank at Mandalay Bay. It was really cool to see all of the interesting animals, like Komodo Dragons, Jellyfishes, and Lionfishes.
While we were walking back, we stopped by The Big Apple Coaster & Arcade. The coaster was too big and we were a bit too scared of it to ride it, so we played some arcade games. The arcade selection wasn't the grandest, but we had gained enough points to win a few candies.
After walking in the Las Vegas heat back to our hotel, we went swimming. The swimming pool wasn't the largest but we still had some fun. I still don't know how to swim.
Once we had dried up, we went to the High Roller, a giant, slow moving Ferris wheel. The views were amazing and we saw the vast lively lights of Las Vegas Strip and nearby it; we went up really high! It took about 30 minutes to make a full revolution.
Then, after a taxi and a long walk, we made it to Gen Korean Barbeque. It was my first time getting Korean BBQ, and I found it to be very delicious. I wasn't very familiar but I still had a good time. Since it was AYCE, we got very full.
When the rest of my family were resting in the hotel room, I went out to the strip to walk and see the different shops and attractions. I had a really good time seeing everything, all of the lights. Even though it was so late, there were still a lot of people out.
I finally slept this night at 4AM, in the morning.
