Today was real cool.
It was 7-11 day today! 7-11 gave out free slurpees, which were a nice treat. I went to get the free slurpees with someone special to me. The floor at the 7-11 was really sticky, obviously.
Afterwards, we went to Downtown Castro Valley. After exploring for a while, walking and seeing the various stores. It was an incredible sight, seeing so many different shops in the bustling downtown.
When we got hungry, and after lots of indecision, we decided on getting pasta from Slice House. It was located in Castro Valley Marketplace, which was a truly amazing sight. It's a bunch of different shops, restaurants, and a market housed in a single building, all connected. The market had a lot of cool and interesting food to purchase, and there were lots of different shops serving different cuisines. I definitely recommend going by there for food, or even to just walk around. It's a really nice new concept to a "communal commercial setting." At Slice House, we got the Gemelli with Vodka Cream and the Bucatini with Meat Sauce along with some Cheesy Garlic Bread. I like the Bucatini with Meat Sauce the best.
Afterwards, we headed to Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard. I was incredibly shocked by the frozen custard, it was really delicious and incredibly rich! I don't think I've ever had custard that creamy and custardy yet sweet and rich; It was very delicious. We also got the green apple Italian ice, which was very refreshing.
Today was very nice.
