Today was quite nice.
I biked to Hayward to hang out with someone special to me. The route was only slightly treacherous, but my bike battery was depleted afterwards. We first hung out at the Sulphur Creek Nature Center and saw the various animals.
Afterwards, we took the bus and ate at Raising Canes. It had been a really, really long time since I ate Raising Canes. I ordered the Box Combo, and it was really really good. I also ordered extra sauce, which I was somehow able to finish. At times it seemed dire whether or not I was able to finish it, but in the end, I finished it. Everything was delicious, the crispy, juicy chicken tenders, the fries, the Texas toast, and the sweet tea I got. I felt that the coleslaw was necessary to cut through the richness and provide some acidity, but I know a lot of people opt to subsitute it for more Texas toast. I would've taken either, but not just coleslaw.
After the delicious meal, we had to sit and chill for a while; it was a lot of delicious food! Then, walking around the center we were situated in, we went to HomeGoods. When I walked in there I knew I needed to go in there again later to shop for my dorm. There was so much stuff in there; a very wide variety.
After we went to HomeGoods, we visited Sprouts Farmers Market. It felt very modern in there but the variety available seemed very healthy. The pre cooked meals looked very nice, appetizing, and convenient.
Finally, we took the bus home. Today was very nice.
