Today was cool.
I went to help mentor at Sunset Showdown 2025, held at St. Ignatius for my high school robotics team, LionBot Robotics. However, right when my day started, I woke up late and almost missed the van. Fortunately, I ran fast enough to school and got ready in time to get in the van.
After a rather cramped, uncomfortable ride, we made it to the event. I helped around as I could and offered help where I could. It was fun seeing competition from this side, without the stresses of being a student. There was less to do but I got to take more breaks which was nice. Although the robot had a few problems, we managed to fix them, and we managed to continue competing by depositing algae into the processor.
The ride back home was a bit better since I was fully sitting on a chair instead of half a seat, and we picked up boba afterwards, which was a nice treat!
