June 21st: Alameda County Fair!

Today was super fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICHIE!!!

I went to the Alameda County Fair with someone very special to me today. We arrived a bit later, around 1. There was quite a lot of people at the fair! The first thing we did was get some deep fried Oreos. They had a lot of batter though and the powdered sugar kept getting everywhere. I'll give them another shot somewhere else, I have hope that they could be good. The batter ruined the ratio of the taste, and I mostly tasted the thick batter instead. It was hard to get down.

Then, we did some rock painting, after seeing some "small critters," of rabbits, snakes, cavies (guinea pigs), and other tiny animals. I was really bad at the rock painting it but I'm happy with our results. For some reason, I just couldn't get any color down. I'm blaming it on the rock!

Then, we got a piña colada that was stored in a pineapple to drink. With our drink, we went to the petting zoo, and saw cows, sheep, goats, and pigs. They were much larger animals, and we got to pet them. The stench wasn't too bad, surprisingly.

After getting on a couple of rides we returned to watch Alaskan Pig Racing, where we also got to take a picture with one of the racing pigs, Strawberry! It was all a very cute experience.

Later, we ordered too many over-priced fries and had a bit of a break before watching some of the motorsports. They were doing tractor pulls, and the trucks got really loud and had lots of exhaust as they were pulling the massive weights.

Then, we went to ride more rides, which were all very thrilling! Unfortunately, after a bit I began getting a headache, but I managed to persevere through it. I tried lots of rides that I had never tried before, which were really fun! We rode on a lot of rides.

Nearing night, we saw a drone show which was really cool. It was fun guessing what the next thing the drones would show. We also got some ice cream to round out our night.

A really fun day indeed!
