March 29th: Robotics Meeting

Today was alright.

I got a haircut during today's robotics meeting. Unfortunately, my barber definitely was screwing with me... I look like Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber.

We did some wiring for our intake system using some cable carriers today. They helped guide our wires and make sure that they weren't just moving around willy nilly.

With the help of our mentor Dr. Max, I also figured out the issues to our 3D printing build plate adhesion issue. As it turns out, it was an issue that I didn't realize was solvable—I thought that the seemingly faulty 3D printer didn't have the capability to adjust the Z axis offset. However, after calibrating it, the filament properly adheres to the build plate now.

Unfortunately, another one of our 3D printers has stopped extruding filament, but at least we're back to where we started—2 working printers.
