Today was busy but still quite nice.
We had a small water balloon fight with another homeroom at school today. I got a bit wet, but some others got really drenched. I was disappointed that my shoes had gotten wet; I had to walk with them throughout the entire day! I still really appreciated the water balloon fight as a way to end off the year in our final homeroom period even if the weather was cold.
Throughout the school day I was stressing to write the speech I'll present to the school administration for them to select a student nominee for the student speaker speech at graduation. I think I managed to make my speech long enough, but it definitely wasn't revised, nor does it have any level of polish. Of course, I'm hoping for the best, and I'm hoping for the best for the other nominee, and I hope we can do it together, because I think we can present different perspectives about our experiences at this school.
After school, our school's Jazz Band did their final concert of the year. They've been playing the same songs every time but it's still a joy to see them perform.
After I got back home, and after a quick nap and snacking on a mango, I rode my bike to Target to do some shopping. I bought a cable so that I could take advantage of my monitor's 75hz refresh rate, bought some stuff for some upcoming potlucks, and also some gifts for some teachers.
It was only after I finished eating dinner that I should've focused on editing my Spanish cooking video! Fortunately, I finished editing it in time before the deadline. Overall, today was pretty eventful.
