Today was nice.
I stayed up really, really late, so much so that it turned early. I stayed up until 6 to see the sunrise, which was very beautiful. Since the BART was live again, I decided to go home for veteran's day. I packed everything and left.
After BART, I had to take the bus. I ended up taking 2 different busses because I didn't want to wait for the bus that brought my home. After the first bus dropped me off, I got a tamal from a stand nearby, which was pretty good! I also tried Champurrado from the stand which was a new taste to my tongue.
At last, the bus that would take me home came. Once I came home, I surprised my father and it was nice talking to him. Then, I took a small nap, but my grandma kept waking me up so that I could go over to my uncle's house to say hi. My aunt kept me there so I could take a proper nap, which lasted until 1.
When I finally woke up, my family and I went to get dim sum, something that Berkeley lacks. It was nice tasting these familiar dishes. Then, when I got back home, I did some home maintenance. My family reorganized and redid the living room, so everything was now a bit cleaner and new. Unfortunately, my father cut our cable subscription, which made a bit of sense since it was so expensive and my grandma didn't really watch as much TV. Since they moved everything around, there was just a bundle of wires on the ground which I organized. I also helped get antennae TV on our television so at the very least, my grandma could watch the news.
After a bit of a rest, my auntie and cousin drove me back to Berkeley, where we had Thai Basil for dinner. I got the Tom Yum Noodle soup, which was really warm and comforting, a feeling I was seeking after being up for so long with such little sleep.
When I got back to my dorm, I fought hard to stay up, but I ended up just organizing some of my evidence for my English class. I was supposed to just take a 15 minute nap, but I ended up fully sleeping until the morning.
