November 18th: Waking Up Late, Homework, and "Failed Pho"

Today could've been a lot better.

I had to pull another all-nighter again last night to push out another feature and finish my calculus homework. It was maybe 7:20AM and I had class at 8:00, so I wanted to just nap for 20 minutes.

Unfortunately, I completely slept past my timer until 2PM again! After lunch, I had a little bit of homework to do and catching up for lecture.

After a call to discuss the startup, I went back to my dorm to finish up a project for CS61A. I managed to submit the checkpoint for the project by the deadline, and it was around 11:30.

I really wanted to get Pho, and the only late night Pho spot was 84 Viet. Unfortunately, their times and schedules were all around the place, so when I took the bus and made it there at 11:47 and saw the sign that they closed dine-in orders at 11:30PM, I was pretty devastated. Despite running for the bus that would take me back, I ended up missing it and having to wait for the next bus. Then, I ended up eating pretty late because of my indecision. I decided to get some ravioli from Seniore's Pizza; I don't think I would get it again, but it is available during the night.

Then, when I got back to my dorm, I noticed my soap was gone. As it turns out, one of my suitemate's friends stole it for some weird hazing task.

Pretty disappointing day!
