Today was awesome!
I stayed up last night to work on the startup, so waking up early this morning for family dim sum was a little harder.
Since we don't have a bathroom right now at my house, I had to shower at my aunt's house. I really, really appreciated the stronger water pressure compared to the water pressure of the shower in my dorm. Then, my cousin drove me to the restaurant.
The restaurant was really packed! We also had a large gathering for Thanksgiving. The typical dim sum we get every time always hits the spot.
After lunch, we got some boba. Since I was tired, I got coffee boba. It was different, and I could tell what it was going for, but I don't know if I'll be getting it again; why not get boba at a boba spot?
When I finally arrived home, the younger generation came over to start our fun time. Unfortunately, I had a meeting to get to for the start up, but once that was over, I felt so care free and liberated and joyous for Thanksgiving! I rushed over to my aunt's house where my brother had begun mixing cocktails.
We began playing Cards Against Humanity, which was really fun!
Then, we got in a car to buy more drinks and other fun things.
When we arrived back, the food was almost ready. We had a really juicy turkey, grandma's glutinous fried rice, sashimi, stir-fried veggies, steak, and yams. It wasn't the most standard thanksgiving meal, but it certainly was my family's thanksgiving meal. It was all so delicious; I'll be yearning for another slice of that delicious turkey.
Later, someone special to me came to our Thanksgiving party. Once the party disbanded, we went our separate ways.
Today was a really, really good day; unforgettable!
