Today could've been more productive.
Rest in peace SweetPea; thank you for the comfort you've brought us.
After a little bit of ice cream last night provided by the hackathon, as well as the midnight run to the beach, as well as finally finishing my homework that was due at midnight, we continued working, until around 4-5 where I finally crashed to sleep. I found a corner to sleep in, which was nice.
Around 6, Chandrark left to go back to his apartment while I continued sleeping. When I woke up, after barely any sleep, I got breakfast, which was bagels; they weren't bad!
Leo came back and we continued working on the app. Chandrark continued working at home, since the Wi-Fi was so bad at the event. In fact, it was one of the most frustrated problems throughout the entire event; it definitely caused more problems when we were developing and was perhaps the biggest hinderence when we were developing. Many other people made the smart decision to code else where; Leo ended up leaving for a little to Starbucks so he could program there.
Later in the night, Mediterranean food was on the menu. Though it was cold, it was pretty good! I also helped someone special to me with back check-in since Chandrark and Leo had gone back to their homes.
Then, there was silent disco! It was fun, but there weren't too many people there. There were some bangers!
Tonight I decided to go back to my dorm because I really needed some sleep. After bus and BART, I made it back late. Some other people on my floor were working in the study rooms on their submission (a smart decision.)
The Calhacks trilogy ends on the next blog!
Thanks for reading,
Issac
A very blurry picture of the ice cream truck!
