January 1st: Happy New Year!

Happy new year!

I stayed up really late last night because my grandma was making Zhong Zi, or the equivalent of Chinese tamales. I wanted a fresh one!

In the early morning (well, I guess it wasn't so early, maybe around 8 or 9), my cousin picked up my family and we went to get dim sum for New Years. It was pretty good, and I was introduced to the tricks my grandma used to get priority seating. It was nice to hang out with family.

However, once we got back home, I slept like a rock until 5! When I woke up, I'm glad to have gotten some work finished.
