January 22nd: Calapalooza and Phone Repair Update

Today was fine.

I was running late and rushed to discussion in the morning, and unfortunately, it turned out that my efforts were futile since discussion was starting next week (but not this week.) So, I went around to see the clubs tabling at Calapalooza. I did a bit of advertising for my startup but my attempts seemed to be futile, so instead, I collected the club's flyers for myself.

Then, I ate from Monsoon kitchens. I actually enjoyed what I had which is nice. I went to COMPSCI 70 lecture eating my lunch. After lecture, I continued looking around Calapalooza.

Then, I went to the repair shop to further diagnose my phone. They confirmed my suspicion that there was a problem with the thermal sensor. So, I dropped it off there for them to continue fixing it.

Later, I attended ABCD's of tech. On the way, I picked up some chicken from Brd Bot, which is a vending machine in the student union selling freshly-fried fried chicken! It was interesting; it didn't particularly look like the packaging on the vending machine, a bit paler, but it was chicken, which I enjoyed. After ABCD's of tech, I got a burger from Bunz. It wasn't particularly the best burger I've ever had, the vegetables were a bit wilted, but it was edible and I was full afterwards.

Throughout the night, I continued chugging along on work.
